Touring Exhibition 2013-2019: Organs along the North Sea Coast

Orgel Wanderausstellung DeutschlandOn Saturday, 13 April 2013, an exhibition about organs along the North Sea Coast started to uncover and show the importance of organ building and organ music. It was opened at the Hamburger Hauptkirche St. Jacobi.

Title of the exhibition: "Hamburg, Husum, Himmelreich".

This project is designed for a touring exhibition and will be shown, amongst other places, at St. Jacobi, Hamburg, Pilsum in Ostfriesland and Jork, Altes Land.

Touring Exhibition: "Organs along the North Sea Coast" reached its peak

Orgel Wanderausstellung in Tonder Dänemark 2014In April 2013 an exhibition about organs along the North Sea Coast started. It was designed for a touring exhibition, opened at the Hamburger Hauptkirche St. Jacobi and was shown, amongst other places, at St. Jacobi, Hamburg, Pilsum in Ostfriesland and Jork, Altes Land.
Now, after one year of travelling around and showing the importance of organ building and organ music to a broader public the Organ Exhibition reached its final peak at the Trilateral Governmental Conference on 4-6 January 2014 in Tønder, DK. 

Orgel Wanderausstellung in Tonder Dänemark 2014This last session of the organ exhibition was very much welcomed and recognised by the guests of the conference and Prof. Konrad Küster had the opportunity to present details and further information to the high-ranking politicians of the conference Ms Sharon Dijksma (Dutch Minister of Agriculture), Mr. Mikkel Aarøe-Hansen (Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Danish Ministry of the Environment) and Ms Rita Schwarzelühr-Sutter (German State Secretary for the Environment).
